In 2018, we had the Golden Mill designated as a historic folk landmark of the City of Golden, and since then, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to always give back to the community. As the “backyard of Golden” we are committed to serving our community, with over $150,000 and counting raised for local, national, and international causes. Through ongoing partnerships with local schools and various nonprofits and fundraising events for causes…We’re not just an award winning and innovative food hall, we’re a force for good. Our events serve as platforms to raise awareness and support for the community we serve and the planet we reside on.
As the “backyard of Golden,” we understand the importance of community and are committed to giving back locally and beyond. We’ve made a name for ourselves as one of the best places to eat in Golden, CO, but it doesn’t stop there. We’re using our food hall to promote worthy causes through nonprofit sponsorships and partnerships.

At The Golden Mill, we are committed to giving back across 3 main platforms: (1) school/education, (2) environment, and (3) food security. Fundraising for these types of initiatives allows us to show our appreciation for Golden and invest in our community’s future.
BGOLDN
BGOLDN is a local food donor in Golden that strives to increase food security throughout our city with innovative partnerships and programs. It’s estimated that 1 in 3 Golden area students are food insecure, and this non-profit aims to help address that issue.
Protect Our Winters
We are passionate about the outdoors and preserving the natural environment, which is why we’ve partnered with Protect Our Winters (POW). This partnership is a no-brainer for us since the Rockies are right in our backyard.
Golden Schools Foundation
Through our partnership with the Golden Schools Foundation, The Golden Mill supports their annual fundraiser - The Golden Gallop which goes back into the Golden area schools.

SNeffles Pup Up Shelter Shop
The mission of the Sneffels Pup Up Shelter Shop is to raise funds and awareness for our shelter and rescue partners. A significant portion of the proceeds from the Pup Up Shop helps us to put on adoption events at The Golden Mill and to directly support the efforts of great organizations like Soul Dog Rescue and many others. Come on down with your furry pal to check out our selection of dog beers, dog hats and other unique doggie items! Woof. Woof.
